What to Pack

Please be sure your child brings a healthy lunch and at least two snacks. Leotard or athletic shorts and a t-shirt are appropriate attire. It is a good idea to bring an extra leotard or change of clothes in their bag in the event of a mishap. For girls, please pack extra hair ties. Hair must be pulled up and please no dangling jewelry. Cell phones and electronics are not allowed. If your child brings an electronic device, Spirit Gymnastics will not be responsible for damage or theft. Please do not send blankets or pillows.

Daily Activities

Each day in camp the students will participate in gymnastics lessons and games. Additionally, there will be a daily special activity:

Monday – Pancake Breakfast
Tuesday – Science
Wednesday – Arts and Crafts
Thursday – Culinary
Friday – Theme Special Event

Weekly Themes

Week 1 – Beach Week (June 7 – 11)
Week 2 – Space Week (June 14 – 18)
Week 3 – Disney Week (June 21 – 25)
Week 4 – Red, White and Blue Week (June 28 – July 2)
Week 5 – Circus Week (July 5 – 9)
Week 6 – Superhero Week (July 12 – 16)
Week 7 – Mission Impossible Week (July 19 – 23)
Week 8 – Olympic Week (July 26 – 30)
Week 9 – Mad Science Week (August 2 – 6)

Drop Off and Pick Up Info

Drop off for summer camp is no earlier than 7:30 am. Pickup is no later than 6:00 pm. If you are late picking up your child, we will charge a late pickup fee to your account. After 6:05 pm, the fee will be $1.00 per minute that you are late.

Payments

Payments for camp are due on the Friday prior to the start of the week. A Late payment fee of $10.00 will be charged if payment is not made by that Friday.

How to Register

Registrations for camp must be made in advance. Same day registrations will be assessed a $10.00 late charge. It is important that we have an accurate head count in order to staff the camp properly.

If you are a new family to Spirit Gymnastics Academy, you are required to pay an annual registration fee. The annual fee of $40.00 per family is charged in January and is prorated quarterly throughout the year.

Expectations of Campers

We are so excited to spend part of our summer with your child. Your child will be learning gymnastics skills every day they are in camp, along with social skills and teamwork. We do expect that your child is able to follow directions and abide by the rules of our coaches. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home for the day. It is Spirit Gymnastics Policy that no refunds are issued in the event that a child needs to be sent home due to illness or behavior issues.

After School Registration Now Open

It’s that time of year again! After school registration for the 2020-21 school year begins Today!

We have limited spots available on each van, so now is your opportunity to reserve a spot for your child!

We are planning on providing transportation from the following schools for the 2020-2021 school year*:
– Berkley/Bams
– Brigham
– Caldwell
– Cypress Junction
– Eagle Lake
– Inwood
– Jewett (JSA)
– Lake Elbert
– Lake Shipp
– Lena Vista
– Oasis
– Pinewood

To register, you must come to the office and fill out a packet. A non-refundable deposit of $70.00 for the first week of tuition is required at the time of enrollment.
